Status:  Full Time – Salary

Location: Knoxville, TN

 

Position Overview:

The Digital Advertising Coordinator is responsible for placing and optimizing digital ad campaigns for current and future marketing clients across multiple platforms. This individual is responsible for executing digital ad placements, coordinating and helping with the set up of analytics and marketing tools, monitoring that data regularly, assisting with building and maintaining ad plans, as well as other assigned projects.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Plan and execute digital advertising campaigns in support of department / team initiatives 
  • Lead the backend on-boarding process for digital ad clients – ensuring pixel placements and tracking tools are in place. Setting everyone up for success from the beginning
  • Assist with insights, research industry trends, and identify best-practices to maximize campaign performances
  • Audit and optimize digital ad campaigns to ensure that the campaigns yield the best results 
  • Provide digital advertising campaign recaps including overall insights on campaign performance
  • Maintain and Finalize Ad Spend Reports 
  • Handle light website maintenance projects 
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to build and improve all marketing efforts
  • Work with in-house creative team to produce creative assets for digital ad campaigns
  • Stay informed of current marketing trends and updates in digital marketing tools, notify managers of opportunities
  • Take action beyond what is necessarily called for, and perform tasks at times without supervision
  • Identify problems, gather relevant data, determine and note possible causes of problems
  • Establish goals, budget time, and set priorities to achieve desired objectives
  • Act as support for Marketing Specialist when needed

 

Qualifications / Skills

  • Proficient in placing ads on Google, Youtube, Facebook, and Instagram
  • Strong copywriting skills for digital ads. Able to communicate overall brand in concise marketing messages
  • Event or Music industry experience helpful but not required
  • Familiar with optimizing campaign strategy based off of insights and data
  • Interest in working with SEO and SEM tools – example SEMRush 
  • Experience with professionally working with clients directly 
  • Self-motivated, yet customer-focused
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate
  • Must be detailed-oriented, paying special attention to grammatical and spelling errors 
  • Proven history of teamwork and willingness to grow, develop, and contribute in an evolving, fast-paced, and complex work environment

 

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field; preferred 
  • 2+ Years Experience executing digital ad placements for clients
  • Well-versed in website and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Data Studio, Tag Manager, etc.)
  • Experience working with conversion tracking and pixel placements 
  • Event or Music industry experience helpful but not required
  • Comfortable with working in WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, or other website backend interfaces
  • Familiar with Photoshop or other simple image resizing tools.
